Enform turns the responses people give you into a finished deck. To do that we store some data about you and the people who answer your forms. Here's exactly what we keep, why, and who we share it with — in plain English.
Last updated June 14, 2026.
What we collect
- Account info — your name and email, plus a password hash if you use email sign-in, or the basic profile (name, email, image) Google gives us if you sign in with Google.
- Forms you create — the questions, settings, and any context you give Enform to generate them.
- Responses your respondents submit — the answers people give your forms, plus basic metadata (timestamp, completion state) needed to show those responses to you.
- Anonymous product analytics — how the app is used, captured via PostHog without person profiles.
How we use it
- Run your form — serve it, collect answers, and notify you of new responses.
- Analyze responses — AI reads the answers to summarize them and surface patterns.
- Draft the deck — generate the slide text and illustration images from your data.
- Operate your account — authenticate you, send transactional email, and handle billing.
We do not sell your data or your respondents' answers, and we do not share form contents with anyone except the subprocessors below that make the product work.
Third parties & subprocessors
We use a small set of trusted services to run Enform. Each one receives only the data it needs for its job.
| Service | What it does |
|---|---|
| OpenAI | Generates form questions, analyzes responses, and drafts deck text. Sent through OpenAI's API — under their API terms this data is not used to train their models. |
| Google Cloud | Hosts the application and stores the database (Postgres, us-central1). |
| Google Gemini | Generates the illustration images in your deck. |
| Google (Sign in with Google) | Authenticates you if you choose to sign in with Google. |
| Tavily | Optional web-research step that gathers public context when a form asks for it. |
| Resend | Sends transactional email (sign-in, response notifications, billing). |
| Dodo Payments | Processes billing if you upgrade to a paid plan. |
| PostHog | Anonymous product analytics — no person profiles. |
Model training
We do not train any models on your data — not your forms, not your respondents' answers. The AI features run on third-party APIs (OpenAI and Google Gemini). Under OpenAI's API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train their models. Enform does not build or train its own models on your content.
Data retention & deletion
You can delete individual forms and their responses from inside Enform at any time. Deleting a form removes it from your account immediately, and it stays recoverable for 30 days — after that, the form and its responses are permanently purged. To delete your entire account, email us and we'll remove your account, forms, and responses, except for records we're required to keep for tax or legal reasons (such as billing history).
After a form is purged, Enform retains only anonymized, aggregate analytics about how forms are built and completed — the form's structure and de-identified response metrics — which we use to improve the product. We never keep your respondents' raw answers, and nothing in this data identifies your respondents.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA. Email us to exercise any of them and we'll respond within a reasonable period.
You're responsible for having the right to collect whatever data your forms ask of respondents, and for complying with the privacy laws that apply to them.
