Send responses to Make
Start a Make scenario every time someone answers your form. You only need Make's own Webhooks and HTTP modules and an Enform API key.
Before you start
- An Enform API key, from Settings > API. Keys are part of Pro.
- The ID of the form you want. GET /forms lists them.
Watch new responses
Add a Custom webhook trigger
In a new Make scenario, add Webhooks > Custom webhook. Create a webhook and copy the address Make gives you.
Point your form at it
Subscribe that address to your form with your API key.
Terminal curl -X POST "https://api.enform.co/api/v1/webhooks" \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $ENFORM_API_KEY" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"formId":"c3a1f7e2-1b4d-4e8a-9c2f-6d5e4b3a2f10","url":"https://hook.eu1.make.com/your-webhook-address"}'Send a test response
Submit your form once. Make picks up the delivery and learns its fields. Everything about the response is under
data.Add your next steps
Add the modules that should run for each response, then turn the scenario on.
Search or fetch responses
To read responses on a schedule or look one up, add HTTP > Make a request with these settings:
URLto list responseshttps://api.enform.co/api/v1/forms/{formId}/submissionsURLto get one responsehttps://api.enform.co/api/v1/submissions/{submissionId}MethodGET- Both are GET requests.
HeadersAuthorizationBearer enf_…Query stringoptionalsinceto get responses submitted after a time, limitup to 100, andcursorfor the next page.Parse responseYes- So Make can map the JSON.
Mapping answers
answersholds each answer as text, keyed by the question's ID. Map by ID, not by question text. Renaming a question doesn't change its ID, so your scenario keeps working.fieldslists each answer with its question text inlabel, if you'd rather loop over them.- Values from the form's link are in
hidden, by name. See hidden fields.
Turn it off
Delete the subscription with DELETE /webhooks/{webhookId}. The ID came back when you created it, and GET /webhooks lists them all.
